21st Chinese military medical team departs for Zambia

SHANGHAI, Jan. 10 (ChinaMil) -- China's 21st military medical team to aid Zambia departed from Shanghai, taking Emirates Airlines flight EK303, for Lusaka, capital of Zambia on Wednesday.

The eleven military doctors of the medical team will provide one-year services for medical assistance and technical training at the General Hospital of the Zambian Defense Force located in Lusaka.

China began to offer medical assistance to Zambia in 1984 and has sent more than two hundred doctors in twenty military medical teams to provide medical services in Zambia in the past thirty-three years.
