China-Cambodia joint anti-terror and humanitarian rescue training concludes

KAMPONG SPEU, Cambodia, March 30 (ChinaMil) – The Golden Dragon 2018 China-Cambodia joint anti-terrorism and humanitarian rescue training wrapped up on March 29 with a ceremony marking the successful completion of the drill held at a military training range here on Thursday morning.

During the joint training, the participating troops from the two countries conducted training of professional subjects such as anti-terror equipment operating, light weapons live-fire practice, unarmed wrestle, simulated airborne landing, penetrating maneuver, man hunting and searching.

As a prelude of the training completion ceremony, participating troops from Cambodia and China staged boxing and martial arts performances respectively, which were followed by skydiving performance given by paratroopers assigned to a special airborne brigade of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF).

The closing ceremony started with national anthems of China and Cambodia. Lieutenant General Zhou Songhe, deputy commander of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Army, Chinese ambassador to Cambodia Xiong Bo and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Cambodia General Tea Banh addressed the ceremony.

Outstanding participants in the joint training were awarded with certificates at the ceremony.
