Soldiers transfer kids in torrential rain-hit Zhengzhou

A 200-member disaster rescue team dispatched by a base of the PLA Rocket Force set out urgently at around 8 a.m. on July 21 and head for rainstorm battered Zhenzhou, capital city of central China’s Henan province, carrying 12 kayaks, more than 1000 life jackets, more than 500 sets of spades and pickaxes and other life-saving equipment. Upon arriving in Zhengzhou, the soldiers rushed to Zhengzhou children's welfare home and quickly transferred more than 500 disabled children to safe areas.
