Wang Jiaojiao first met soldier Zheng Minggang in 2013 in northwest China's Xianyang. Not long after they fell in love, Zheng was diagnosed with arterial disease.
With Wang as a strong support, Zheng was given a prosthesis and returned to the barracks for training.
He was honored with the first, second, and third-class merit citations, and awarded a national model title.
In 2018, Wang and Zheng married. They now have a lovely daughter and live a happy life. Wang was also named "the most beautiful military wife" in Xianyang.
