BEIJING, April 22 -- The newly commissioned Type 075 amphibious assault ship Guangxi has recently carried out basic drills involving such training courses as navigation arrangement, medical rescue, and damage control, aiming at the requirements of future amphibious and far-sea combat operations.
As the first batch of amphibious assault ships independently developed by China, Ship Hainan and Ship Guangxi will greatly enhance China's amphibious combat capabilities and improve the PLA Navy’s overall combat system.
